Goals and objectives of the mobile app

We identified the main goals and objectives of the future application.

• Provide a way to quickly find and fund online work.
• Provide an effective tool for employers and employees to interact on a single platform.
• Implement an advanced search algorithm that provides the most relevant matches between candidates and jobs.
• Utilize a secure architecture with advanced technologies to protect user data.
• Provide tools to verify and validate the qualifications of candidates and employers.
• Develop an intuitive interface and high level of UX to meet the needs of both experienced users and newcomers.
• Ensure the ability to adapt to future changes and expand the functionality of the platform.

Development technologies:

The architecture of the application was represented by a client-server structure, the client part of which the user installs directly on the mobile device. In the process, the client communicates with the server-side of the application through web services (API).

What tools to develop the front-end part were decided to use: React Native, React + TypeScript, Node.js (express), Mongo DB, HTML5, Material Design, Human Interface Guidelines technology.

The application is designed for iOS and Android operating systems.

The functionality of the Work application

For customers:

• Search for jobs by keyword, category, and location.

For Drivers:

• Easy registration process with the possibility of company verification.
• Manage employer profile (add logo, company information).
• Create new ads with a detailed description of the job.
• Add photos or videos describing the working conditions.
• Set deadlines for submitting applications.
• Evaluate candidate resumes and portfolios.
• Save profiles of the best candidates.
• Sort applications by relevance, experience, or other parameters.
• Quickly accept or reject applications.

The results of the project

The Work mobile application has been successfully launched in marketplaces and has become a convenient tool for job seekers and employers posting jobs. The app allows candidates to easily find job opportunities, apply with a few clicks, and receive personalized recommendations based on their skills and experience. At the same time, employers can efficiently create jobs, review applications, and connect with potential employees via integrated chat.

Work streamlines the job search and hiring process, simplifies communication between parties, and ensures transparency at all stages of employment.
