Goals and objectives of the mobile app

We identified the main goals and objectives of the future application.

• Create a convenient service: Develop a mobile application that provides a convenient and fast way for customers to order taxis and drivers to manage their orders.
• Improve user experience: Provide an intuitive interface and streamlined application experience for both groups of users.
• Process automation: Reduce the time spent on order processing, route calculation and payment through the use of modern technology.
• Competitiveness: Create a product that stands out in the market with unique features, stable operation and high quality.
• Scalability: Ensure the ability to expand functionality and integrate with additional services.

Development technologies:

The architecture of the application was represented by a client-server structure, the client part of which the user installs directly on the mobile device. In the process, the client communicates with the server-side of the application through web services (API).

What tools to develop the front-end part were decided to use: React Native, React + TypeScript, Node.js (express), Mongo DB, HTML5, Material Design, Human Interface Guidelines technology.

The application is designed for iOS and Android operating systems.

The functionality of the NoveTaxi application

For customers:

• Registration and authorization.
• Determining the current location of the client.
• Selecting the start and end points of the route.
• Viewing the cost of the trip before ordering.
• Tracking the vehicle in real time.
• Payment (cash, bank card, e-wallet).

• Registration and authorization (with document verification).
• Notification of new orders.
• Order acceptance/rejection.
• Viewing the client’s route and location.
• History of completed trips.
• Status management (available/busy).

The results of the project

The NoveTaxi mobile app has been successfully launched on marketplaces and has become a convenient tool for both customers and drivers. The app allows customers to easily find available transportation, order rides with a few clicks and receive transparent cost calculations. At the same time, drivers can efficiently manage orders, track routes and receive up-to-date information about customers and trips.

NoveTaxi streamlines the transportation ordering process, increases driver efficiency, and improves the quality of service for customers. This project was an important addition to Kit Global’s portfolio, demonstrating the successful implementation of intuitive functionality. NoveTaxi is now an important part of the client’s ecosystem, helping to automate business processes and provide user convenience at every stage of the journey.
